A Modern Gown in the Florida Forrest | Styled Shoot
As we have stated in other blog posts, styled shoots are so exciting for us to be apart of! We adore partnering with other local vendors to bring a wedding vision to life.
Recently, wedding planner, Becca, of Weddings & Designs by Becca, asked us to participate in dreamy styled shoot at Washington Oaks Gardens & State Park! Becca was the mastermind behind one of our other styled shoots, featuring our Goddess By Nature Bridal Seperates & a surprise proposal between our models (if you missed this styled shoot, check out all the details in a previous blog post, here)! Anyway, we were more than happy to work with Becca again and we loved the vision she and the other vendors had put together for this new shoot!
So, below are some of our favorite details from this styled shoot & photos of our Mirai dress in action! Make sure to check out the full vendor list at the very bottom of this post - give each vendor a follow on social media and reach out to them for your wedding needs!
This styled shoot featured two couples - Alex & Alex and Jason & Sarah. Both brides took turns wearing our Mirai gown by L’amour by Calla Blanche and they both wore it flawlessly!
The Mirai gown is a goddess glam look! This dress features a dramatic, plunging neckline, a semi sheer, lace bodice, and a low back. Mirai’s train is just the right length for an outdoor wedding and is lined with horsehair to give the train a very crisp edge!
The entire form fitting gown is adorned with subtle sparkles as well as a captivating lace. The lace is probably my favorite part of this gown (it’s Chris here, by the way)! It has a vine like pattern that sets it apart from your typical floral lace. This dress is very modern, yet it gives a very classic vibe as well! I also love that the Mirai dress is a very bright gown, which made the bride(s) really POP in this lush setting!
Alex’s hair was full of stunning, soft curls and pulled back into a half up, half down look, with a little braid pulled back as well! This hairstyle paired beautifully with the more modern, glamorous side of the Mirai gown. Further accentuating the glam look was Alex’s movie star level make up! It was not too much, but not too little, just right for this timeless bridal look!
Sarah’s hair, on the other hand, was pulled all the way back into a gorgeous updo! This updo helped show off the straps of the Mirai dress, with the vine-like lace trailing up the shoulder. Sarah also had a unique crown of greenery and baby’s breath as well as a more natural make up that completed a very goddess look!
Both Brides also carried stunning floral bouquets by Malia Floral Design! The bright white flowers paired gracefully with the crisp, modern look of the Mirai dress and the greenery was a perfect way to further tie in the scenery.
We loved having two models showing off two different ways to style the same dress! It excites us to see our real brides style their dresses in their own unique ways, which allows their personalities to really shine through!
Washington Oaks Gardens & State Park is a gorgeous location for a bride planning an outdoor wedding. The forrest is saturated with gorgeous greenery and breathtaking views! We love that this location highlights a tropical side of Florida that is different than the beach. For a bride who is interested in a Florida wedding but is not looking to have her feet in the sand, Washington State Park is a great option.
As we always say, the magic is in the little details & this styled shoot is no exception! From stationary to a stunning sweethearts table, the local vendors brought together an amazing look in this intimate, tropical setting. Check out these photos of the magical touches!
